This Privacy Policy explains how CallSalvage ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit callsalvage.com or use our missed call recovery service.

Who we are

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, service area, and any details you share when you request an audit, sign up, or contact us.
  • Information from your business phone line. When you are a customer, we process the phone numbers of people who call your business, the time of those calls, and the content of text conversations our system has with them, so that we can reply and book appointments on your behalf.
  • Website information. Basic technical data such as browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring page.

How we use information

  • To deliver the service you hired us for, including sending text replies to people who called your business and booking their appointments.
  • To communicate with you about your account, your monthly report, and support.
  • To improve the accuracy of the answer scripts you approve.
  • To meet legal, tax, and carrier compliance obligations.

Text messaging and consent

Our system only sends text messages to people who called a client business first. We do not send cold or unsolicited marketing texts. Mobile information and consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Any sharing described below excludes text messaging originator opt in data and consent. See our SMS Consent page for details.

How we share information

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed to run the service:

  • Our messaging and CRM platform, which delivers the text messages and stores conversations.
  • Telecommunications carriers required to route messages.
  • Payment processors, to bill your subscription.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, when legally required.

How long we keep information

We keep conversation records for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting and dispute purposes. You may ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected].

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email [email protected].

Anyone receiving a text from a system we operate can stop it at any time by replying STOP.

Security

We use industry standard safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our service is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we update this policy we will post the revised version here with a new date at the top.
